摘要：Variational inequalities and hemivariational inequalities arise naturally in fluid mechanics for problems with nonsmooth boundary conditions or for non-Newtonian flows. In this talk, we review early works and present recent/new results on the inequality problems.  We discuss mathematical theories and numerical analysis for several families of variational and hemivariational inequalities in fluid mechanics.
